Actress Dolly Sohi, who rose to fame in the TV shows “Jhanak” and “Bhabhi,” died early on Friday, March 8, at a Navi Mumbai hospital, from cervical cancer. Her younger sister, actress Amandeep Sohi, tragically passed away just a few hours ago due to jaundice.

Before obtaining the initial diagnosis, Dolly, 47, had been undergoing therapy for cervical cancer for approximately six months. “She’s not here anymore. She died at Apollo Hospital in the wee hours of the morning. The cancer in her cervical region had migrated to her lungs. Manpreet, the brother of the couple, said to PTI, “We had admitted her to the hospital yesterday night because her health had declined.”

Popular TV serial “Badtameez Dil” star Amandeep Sohi passed away on Thursday night. She was in her early forties. “Amandeep passed away on Thursday night due to jaundice at the DY Patil Hospital,” Manpreet stated.

Dolly Sohi has portrayed prominent roles in television shows such as “Kkusum,” “Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi,” “Kumkum Bhagya,” and “Parineetii.” In a recent Instagram post, Dolly asked her friends and followers to pray for her.
