With the help of Cristiano Ronaldo twice, Al Nassr beat Al Ahli 4-3 in a dramatic Saudi Pro League match on Friday in Riyadh
Al Nassr was able to resist numerous comeback attempts from their fellow star-studded competitors thanks to early goals from Ronaldo in each of the two halves that served as the team’s scoring books.
In the fourth minute, the Portuguese icon connected with the ex-Liverpool forward Sadio Mané to score the game’s opening goal with a low left-footed shot. He then scored Al Nassr’s fourth goal in the 52nd minute with another precise left-foot finish following a quick turn on the edge of the penalty area.

Three times, Al Ahli overcame a one-goal deficit to beat the host team. Former Barcelona player Franck Kessié scored in the first half, and Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez converted a penalty in the second, but the game’s last seconds were tight because of a 4-3 goal from substitute Feras Al-Brikan.
Al Nassr has now won five straight games in the league after dropping their opening two contests of the year. They are presently equal for fifth place with Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League standings on points as a result of their most recent victory.
Al Nassr and Al Ahli are two of the four clubs that Saudi Arabia‘s Public Investment Fund (PIF) has acquired control of. Before then, there was a big summer of spending when many well-known players from Europe joined the Saudi Pro League.
