American gamer Ninja reveals she has skin cancer

Ninja, an American gaming streamer, has disclosed his cancer diagnosis.

Once Tyler Bevins started streaming live to millions of Fortnite gamers, his stage name, Ninja, became well-known.

He is one of the most well-known and prosperous individuals in the Twitch and YouTube video game broadcasting industries because of his blue-dyed hair, which makes him stand out from the crowd.

But the 32-year-old recently revealed to his 19 million social media followers that a mole that was removed from his foot turned out to be cancerous.

Although he admitted that he was “still in a bit of shock,” he has subsequently urged everyone to have regular checks.

“A few weeks ago, Jess proactively scheduled an annual skin/mole check for me at a dermatologist,” Bevins said.

They wanted to remove the mole that was on the bottom of my foot, just to be sure. Despite the melanoma diagnosis, they remain optimistic due to the early detection.

“I had another dark spot appear near it, so today they removed a larger area surrounding the melanoma and biopsied it in the hopes that we will be able to clearly see non-melanoma edges under a microscope and know we have it.”

“I’m grateful to have hope of finding this early, but please take this as a PSA to get skin checkups.”

Melanoma is a type of skin cancer that can spread to other parts of the body, according to the NHS.

Skin cancer is mostly caused by UV light, which is emitted by the sun and sunbed use. A family history of the illness may also increase one’s risk of contracting it.
