Apple launches its fastest iMac and MacBook Pro models.

At a livestreamed event on Monday night, Apple introduced new laptops and its next-generation custom CPUs, the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Pro Max.

It appears that “scary fast” refers to both the silicon chip series release and Tuesday’s Halloween. Apple CEO Tim Cook began the pre-recorded presentation in pitch black in front of a smoke machine in a dimly lit portion of Cupertino’s campus.

Despite its unattractive appearance, a new CPU will power Apple’s latest gadgets and boost processing speed and capabilities. Apple claims that the M3 series of CPUs has 50% more core processing capability and 2.5 times faster speeds than the M1 family. 3 nanometer CPUs support AI and sophisticated visuals.

During the launch, Apple said, “It will bring a whole new level of graphics to the Mac.” “These are the most sophisticated chips designed for a personal computer to date.”

Apple showed how an M3 gadget can sequence DNA or RNA to detect early cancer or avert pandemics from anywhere in the world.

The M3 Pro and M3 Pro Max CPUs will power the next-generation 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros. Although they seem the same, the new models will be called “space black” instead of “space grey.” Apple claims that the top MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro Max CPU has up to 8 terabytes of storage and 128 gigabytes of RAM, making it 11 times faster than the Intel-powered model.

They have 22-hour batteries and 25% brighter displays than their predecessors. The 16-inch MacBook costs $2,499 and the 14-inch $1,599.

Apple plans to release more 24-inch M3-powered iMacs. The maker claims this model is twice as fast as the M1 iMac, despite its 4.5K retina display and seven colour options. Next week, the $1,299 M3-processed iMac will appear.

Apple Silicon, the company’s unique silicon chip, has been a hot topic in recent years; therefore, Apple stopped utilising Intel CPUs. The processors’ rapid computing speed, thermal efficiency, and long battery life have drawn notice.

Despite new gadgets, the PC and laptop business is growing rapidly. Mac sales have dropped this year because of lower customer demand, higher inventory, and a macroeconomic slowdown.

One month ago, Apple revealed the iPhone 15, which has a better primary camera, a customizable Action button, USB-C charging, and a smaller size.
