In La Liga, Barcelona overcame a deficit to defeat struggling Alaves thanks to two goals from Robert Lewandowski.
In just eighteen seconds, Samu Omorodion’s goal gave the visitors an unexpected lead.
Lewandowski scored the game-winning penalty kick after Raphinha was fouled. Jules Kounde’s cross was a header that gave the hosts a point.
As a result, Barca is currently four points behind Girona, the unexpected leaders, and three points behind Real Madrid in second place.
Six games without a goal was Lewandowski’s longest goalless streak since joining Borussia Dortmund in February 2011. His goals ended the run. With both goals, he now has six and seven in the Spanish top division this year.

The fact that Omorodion’s goal was the quickest Barcelona has conceded in a home league game this century, however, obscured Xavi’s team’s haphazard play.
The Nou Camp was undergoing renovations, and the Barcelona Olympic Stadium was practically empty, so the hosts were lucky not to lose more when Omorodion missed a fantastic close-range chance to increase Alaves’ advantage.
