At Narendra Modi Stadium, celebrity photographer Rohan Shrestha took the official ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 portrait before the match. The eleven captains outlined their six-week strategies and ambitions with host Ravi Shastri and England’s winning captain, Eoin Morgan.

Australia captain Pat Cummins said, “I don’t think there are too many events where you feel like half the world is tuning in to watch,” especially when India plays Pakistan in the World Cup. This seems to be one of those occasions. So watch it even if you don’t care about the conclusion to comprehend the game’s obsession. That it will happen here is amazing. Over 100,000 people are possible.

“I have said it from the beginning: every leader sitting here wants to do something special for their country,” Rohit Sharma remarked. I’m sure every guy here values it. I envisioned the 50-Over World Cup as a child. Indians adore cricket and their teams, so they’ll like this. I assume everyone knows. The stadium will be full. Fear not—there will be fierce competition.

“We were surprised by the hospitality, but I think everyone enjoyed it,” remarked Babar Azam. We feel more at home after a week in Hyderabad, India. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves. It’s good, and everyone can enjoy and give their all at the event.

“I think you stated right through the game that the team’s been together since 2015, since that transformation began,” England captain Jos Buttler said. Because it will help them win, English youth footballers play their way. Pushing limits and accepting mistakes is our goal. Because other teams will push you further, we must always be ahead.”

“As said previously, we will have more crowds and support; we expect the same in the stadium,” said Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi. Our great spinners will help with batting too. I hope we prove we’re great batsmen and cricketers in this World Cup.”

Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan remarked, “I think we have prepared well.” The qualifiers’ point system will likely place us third or fourth four years after the World Cup. We must perform well after cooperating. Our team is ready for national expectations to rise slightly.

“I think every game in this tournament will be hard,” said Netherlands captain Scott Edwards. Pakistan is good. Finished and ready to fight. Hyderabad vs. Pakistan

Captain Temba Bavuma says, “I think that is something that is pertinent to all the teams.” I don’t think we have an advantage because few teams have successful Indian players. I guess we can only let the experts share it with the team or determine our aims and strategy. Our team doesn’t have it all.

“We are in exciting times,” said Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka. Excellent records despite recent injuries. We are all excited about the World Cup. Each participant wants to win and make a statement.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson said, “As you mentioned, you come to another event, and everybody certainly starts from the same position and starts again.” The next tournament has different teams and opponents. Practising our preferred style of cricket will help us play better. This competition is intriguing, even though our previous ones were enjoyable and challenging. Unlike previous competitions, it will offer a spectacular Indian event. Sports are popular, so they will always have a large following. So we’re pleased to participate.”
