According to the most recent data provided by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA), the number of automobiles sold during the first two months of the current fiscal year 2023–24 declined by 50.35 percent as compared to the same month last year. The bottom line is that car sales dropped 50% in July and August.
9.511 vehicles were sold during the months under consideration, as opposed to 19,358 units during the same months last year.

Only 700 Honda Civic and City cars were sold in July and August of 2023 and 2024, according to the breakdown statistics, compared to 3,844 units during the same time period the year before.
The Toyota Corolla and Yaris saw a 52.83 percent decline in sales from 4,635 units the year before to 2,186 units this year. Sales of the Suzuki Swift dropped by 11.48 percent to 755 units from 853 units the year before.
From 1,072 units sold during the same period last year to 482 units sold during the first two months of this year, Suzuki Cultus sales fell. Sales of the Suzuki WagonR decreased as well, from 647 to 604 units the previous year.
Suzuki Bolan sales plummeted to 312 units from 580 units in the same month the year before, while Suzuki Alto sales dropped abruptly by 39.09 percent (from 6,911 units to 4,209 units).
