BBC weathercaster Carol Kirkwood called her marriage intimate and romantic.
He told the BBC that the TV star’s Buckinghamshire wedding on Wednesday was “the most perfect, romantic, and intimate wedding.” The two of us are pleased.

Kirkwood wore a satin dress with a boat neckline, a style popularised by the Duchess of Sussex, and held a dozen long-stemmed roses in viral photos of the couple.
On X, former BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker wrote, “Congratulations to Carol and Steve.” Carol is the best, and Steve is really lucky.

Last May, Kirkwood announced their engagement on BBC Breakfast. She said she had “absolutely no idea” what Steve would propose.

“I’m always happy and put myself in the spotlight because of my work, but my partner, family, and friends haven’t, so I really respect their privacy,” he said.
“I simply don’t talk about them, other than to say that my partner is incredibly beautiful, hilarious, and brings me great joy.”
“If that’s not romantic, I don’t know what is,” he said. “He gets up at quarter to three in the morning to make me a cup of tea before heading to work.”
