On November 11, actor Chandra Mohan, a well-known figure in the Telugu cinema industry, departed from this life. The age is 82. Chandra Mohan was purportedly receiving treatment in a private Hyderabadi hospital for heart-related problems. Around 9:45 a.m., he went into cardiac arrest and passed away. With her passing, one of Telugu cinema’s greatest artists has been lost: Chandra Mohan.
He departs from his spouse, Jalandhara, and leaves behind two children. His funeral will take place in Hyderabad on Monday, as several of his family members must travel from afar.
Mallampalli Chandrasekhar Rao, popularly known as Chandra Mohan, was connected to the late filmmaker and Dada Sahab Phalke award winner K Vishwanath. He was connected to the late popular playback vocalist S. P. Balasubrahmanyam.

Mohan was born on May 23, 1943, in Andhra Pradesh. Actor started his acting career in 1966 with the release of “Rangula Ratnam,” for which he was awarded the Nandi award for best actor by the state government. He played major roles in 175 of the almost 900 films in which he appeared. He was well-liked by the people and always made an effort to avoid controversy.
Career of Chandra Mohan
In 1966, actor Rangula Ratnam made his Telugu cinema debut. In 150 of the 932 films in his repertoire, he starred as the lead actor. He received the Nandi Award for Chandamama Raave in 1987 and the Nandi Award for Athanokkade in 2005 in appreciation of their accomplishments. In 1978, he was recognised for Padaharella Vayasu and was awarded a Filmfare Award-South.
