The company wants to cover 90% of global markets by 2030 by expanding to Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, and the CIS. Master Changan Pakistan, Changan’s RHD production hub, is part of its “Vast Ocean” strategy to serve global RHD markets.
Government Policies
The federal government has only approved “Made in Pakistan” automotive export legislation to boost the car industry. Thus, Pakistan’s car sector has made proposals to preserve vehicle exports.
“We sincerely thank our government for the auto-export policy 2021–2026,” Malik said. Government rules must improve local output, expand economies of scale, encourage greater localization, and help manufacturers become more globally competitive.
