Guide to viewing UCF:
1:I still think UCF will beat West Virginia (FS1) for its first Big 12 win.
2: Clemson and North Carolina State (CW) are both down, but the Tigers aren’t guaranteed to win at Raleigh. A loss would mark Clemson’s first four-loss season in 12 years.
3:30: CBS’s Florida vs. No. 1 Georgia is a yearly must-see. No. 8 Oregon at No. 13 Utah (Fox) is a Pac-12 title elimination game if it’s ugly or lopsided.
Read More: New Bucks star Damian Lillard scores 39 points in a triumph over the Sixers.
7: Tampa Bay Tech alum Michael Penix Jr. needs two touchdown throws to tie Jake Locker and Brock Huard for fourth in Washington history (53). FS1 should see him and No. 5 Washington hit it against Stanford. I can’t get upset, but No. 3 Ohio State vs. Wisconsin (NBC) intrigues me.
8: How will No. 17 North Carolina react at Georgia Tech (ACC Network) after last week’s devastating loss to Virginia? Watch Plant High Alum Jordan McCloud leads No. 25 James Madison over Old Dominion (ESPNU).
No. 11 By beating Arizona, one of the nation’s most improved teams, Oregon State can stay in the playoffs.
Local of the Week:
Wake Forest defensive lineman Justin Williams (Armwood High) Seminoles’ rushing game must be stopped for Wake Forest to defeat No. 4 Florida State. They need a strong performance from 6-foot-2, 282-pound first-year starter Williams.
Stat of the Week,UCF:
Since Will Shipley’s third-quarter touchdown for Clemson, FSU hasn’t allowed a second-half point. That second-half stretch is 108:31.
NFL draft watch:
Kamari Lassiter might be Georgia’s fourth first-round defensive back since 2019. Watch out for him against UF’s top receiver prospect, Ricky Pearsall. Florida edge rusher Princely Umanmielen may face Georgia offensive lineman Amarius Mims. Umanmielen is attracting NFL interest, while Georgia hopes top-10 pick Mims can return from an ankle ailment.
This week on Coach Prime:
No. 23: UCLA is removing seat-covering tarps to increase homecoming capacity. Deion Sanders and Colorado still have some juice. Only the Buffaloes, Georgia, Iowa, Notre Dame, and Tennessee have played every game to sell-out crowds. The open date may have helped Colorado recover from its Stanford loss.
 ACCtion:
There’s more at stake for No. 16 Louisville than its first nine-game home winning run since 2015-16 under Lamar Jackson. The Cardinals’ game against No. 20 Duke will affect the ACC title. Both have one loss in the division-less ACC; thus, the winner will join FSU and North Carolina as the top contenders for the Dec. 2 conference title game in Charlotte.
 Manning time?
Maalik Murphy will try to keep No. 7 Texas’ playoff aspirations alive against BYU without starting quarterback Quinn Ewers. The big question is whether another freshman, Arch Manning, plays, which the Longhorns haven’t ruled out. Modern-day top recruit Manning is Peyton and Eli’s nephew.
 GameDay breakdown:
Turnovers matter in every game, but especially in Utah-Oregon. Utes and FSU are tied for third with four lost turnovers, while the Ducks top the country with one. One takeaway might determine if Utah extends its home winning streak to 19 games.
Is it UCF week?
The Knights’ best chance of winning the Big 12 comes at home against West Virginia. The mountaineers are average in most areas. Tre’Mon Morris-Brash, tied for second nationally with 14 tackles for loss, will be crucial for UCF. Can he penetrate the offensive line to slow a deep-running backroom?
