Faraz Khan, a Pakistani entrepreneur and MBE recipient for his work in UK–Pakistan relations, said on Sunday that he will use “innovative approaches” in impact investing and climate advocacy for a sustainable future.
In November, Faraz Khan was awarded the MBE medal by Prince William at Windsor Castle for his “services to UK/Pakistan relations,” as stated on the official website of the UK government. At Spectreco, a digital, data, and consulting company that streamlines and expedites sustainability and ESG activities, Khan serves as both CEO and partner.
Southwest Pakistan’s Quetta is where Khan was born. Prior to attending Lincoln University in the UK for his MBA studies in 1998–2000, he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Karachi.
Faraz has over 25 years of expertise in multi-stakeholder investments, ESG policies, and impact creation. He founded and runs SEED Ventures, which invests in and influences emerging nations.
Khan’s LinkedIn page says the group has made $40 million for SEED and its portfolio firms in the past decade.
Khan told Arab News from Dubai, “I see this honour as a catalyst for fostering collaborative opportunities and partnerships that will contribute significantly to the sustainable development of both nations.”

He added that the MBE award validated his efforts to improve Pakistan-UK ESG and climate advocacy relations.
He remarked, “I am actively exploring novel approaches in the fields of social enterprise, impact investing, and climate advocacy.” to address our planet’s continuous problems. I support programmes that help us attain a sustainable future.
Impact investments combine financial incentives with measurable social and environmental benefits.
Khan said he got into social enterprise and impact investing because he believed every action had a “positive ripple effect.”
The Pakistani businessman intended to help Spectreco create a “greener, more resilient” future.
