Loki season 2 ends with its sixth episode, which is as “glorious” as you could expect. Loki repeatedly goes back in time to save the timelines in this episode after learning to control his time slipping. He has studied everything for decades to mend the temporal loom.
After realising the temporal weave cannot be mended, his attempts are futile. He might murder Sylvie and safeguard He Who Remains, or he might let her kill him and cause eternal disaster. So he does something unexpected and fulfils his beautiful aim, but what is it? Why does Loki fulfil his noble objective in Loki Season 2, Episode 6? Discover it in this article!
Loki becomes a multiverse centre:
Tom Hiddleston realises, after many attempts, that he must take matters into his own hands by the end of this episode. Loki exits the blast doors with the temporal loom going mad and puts on his new Loki suit while his clothing burns down from radiation.

Tom breaks the temporal weave and kills all timelines with his sorcery. Then he gathers all the dead branches. The dead branches are held as he approaches He Who Remains’ destroyed dwelling.
On the throne of He Who Remains, he revives all dead branches. He holds together all the timelines and their developing branches in a tree-like structure. This is a large reference to Norse mythology’s Yggdrasil tree, where the universe and nine realms exist. In Norse myths, Odin and his horse care for this tree, but Loki rules all the time.
Loki always wanted a throne and a majestic place in the cosmos, and this is the greatest way I can envision him achieving it. We don’t know where this will lead, but it could lead to Avengers: Secret Wars. Whatever Marvel does, Loki’s Glorious Purpose may go beyond being the master of all time, but only time will tell.
