Robin Windsor, a 44-year-old star of Strictly Come Dancing, has gone away.
Come What May was his farewell performance and tribute to the Moulin Rouge.
Windsor participated in Strictly Come Dancing from 2010 to 2015. Actress Deborah Meaden from Dragons’ Den, Anita Dobson, Patsy Kensit, and Lisa Riley were among her friends. He performed in the dance for the Children in Need special that Susanna Reid did in 2011 and the Christmas special that Alison Hammond, who presents on Great British Bake Off, did in 2015.
“We announce the tragic passing of our beloved friend Robin Windsor with heavy hearts,” said a statement from Sisco Entertainment, a theatrical and corporate entertainment firm.
“Robin was an embodiment of passion, grace, and sheer talent in Come What May; it was more than just a performance.” With each step, his amazing ability to emote through movement mesmerized the audience.

As she gave Ed Balls the reins during her live Good Morning Britain announcement of Windsor’s passing, Susanna Reid broke down in tears. In 2011, Reid gave a performance with Windsor for Children in Need.
Robin possessed strength. states, “I fell in love with him, and I fell in love with dancing when I danced with him back then.” I adore him a great deal. His temperament was ideal. There was something about him that attracted me.
“The Burn the Floor family has lost one of its founding members, Robin “Bobby” Windsor, who has tragically passed away,” Windsor said in a statement following a lengthy dance performance. As a BTF journeyman, he spent twenty years dancing with us on Broadway, the West End, and on our crazy international travels.
He stated, “His stunning image attached to Jessica Raffa defined our company as colorful, extreme, and sensual.” Burn the Floor’s talent, personality, and skill set helped him become well-known. Though we will mourn him terribly, we will never forget him.
According to his website, he began ballroom and Latin dancing at the age of three after his parents took him to Ipswich sessions. Following that, he competed in national and international championships on behalf of England.
Following its 2001 premiere with Burn the Floor’s company, the production spent nine months on Broadway before embarking on an eleven-year tour.
Windsor was featured on So You Think You Can Dance in the Netherlands and Dancing with the Stars in Australia, in addition to giving inspirational speeches. She was responsible for choreographing the Australian version of So You Think You Can Dance.
