Home and Away's Johnny Ruffo dies at 35.

Home and Away’s Johnny Ruffo, a 35-year-old X Factor competitor, died suddenly.

Prior to appearing in the soap opera Home and Away, Ruffo gained notoriety on the reality show X Factor Australia.

After receiving a brain cancer diagnosis in 2017, he made donations to Australian projects that raised money and public awareness.

On his Instagram page, his family declared that he passed away on Friday, surrounded by the people he loved.

“He battled all the way to the end and fought as hard as he could,” it said.

“Such a beautiful soul with so much more to give.”

Australian television and music stars grieved the sudden death of Home and Away’s Johnny Ruffo.

He would go down as a “talented, charming, and sometimes cheeky boy,” they went on.

Mel B, the Spice Girl and former host of X Factor, was one of the many people who offered his family sympathy.

In an Instagram post, Dannii Minogue referred to him as “the cheekiest chap”. Many will miss his voice, charm, and dancing feet.”

Born in Perth, Western Australia, Ruffo worked as a concreter before becoming well-known in 2011 during the third season of X Factor.

Following that, he released a number of singles, won a season of Dancing with the Stars, and spent three years as the lead actor in the television series Home and Away.

2017 saw Ruffo receive his diagnosis, at which point he made the decision to pause his professional life. The illness went into remission following two years of medication, but it reappeared in 2020.

Ruffo disclosed last year in an interview that his prognosis had become terminal.

After researching my tumour and diagnosis, I discovered that the median life expectancy was only three years. Per his statement to Channel 10, “I’ve been winning for the past five years, so to speak.”

“It will finally pursue me… Right now, I want to attempt to assist as many individuals as I can.

Tahnee Sims, his accomplice, survives to tell the story.
