Luis Cifuentes, the contractor threatening, told New Orleans that Thomas hurled two bricks at his truck and pushed him over on Friday at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Thomas informed residential development project manager Cifuentes that construction workers were parking on the road. Thomas allegedly threatened Cifuentes with a “brick or a bullet” for unauthorized parking.

“When I saw him exit the car, I thought, ‘I have no idea what he’s doing; I’m just concerned about my job site.’ He threw a rock from a massive sand mound at my car, making the other workers shout, “Hey, man, your truck, your truck!” When Cifuentes said, I thought, ‘Oh, guy, he’s actually doing stuff.’ He assaulted me while I videotaped him with my phone.”
Cifuentes stated that he is a Thomas devotee and was astounded by Thomas’s behavior.
“When I told him this, I was like, ‘Man, listen, I cheered for you every Sunday; I never imagined we would have this kind of problem.'” Cifuentes said, “We are present.”
Despite three years of injuries, Thomas has played in all nine games this season. In addition to receptions (38), he ranks third among Saints players in receiving yards (439). There are no signs that the incident will have an impact on Thomas’ participation in Sunday’s game against Minnesota.
