Pakistan experienced a setback before Australia and Pakistan’s second Test match, which was held in Melbourne on Thursday.The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) declared that pacer Khurram Shazad will miss the rest of the Test series because of a stress fracture in his left 10th rib and a rupture in his abdominal muscle.
Shahzad said he felt pain in his left side during the first exam. The PCB said that after speaking with an Australian expert, a final management plan for the player will be developed.
It said, “After that, he will go back to the NCA in Lahore to continue his injury management and rehabilitation.”
In Perth, the right-armer made his Test debut and finished with five wickets.
Australia easily defeated Pakistan in the opening Test match of the three-match series. Pakistan lost the match by 360 runs after collapsing for a pathetic 89 in 30.2 overs, despite being set a target of 450 in the fourth inning.

In Perth, Pakistan made the wise choice to overrate slowly in their opening Test match against Australia. The visitors lost 10% of the match fee in addition to two ICC World Test Championship points.
