Israel alleges it detected Hamas hiding in the hospital. On Friday, Israeli forces arrested 20 Hamas fighters engaged in the Oct. 7 hospital bombings and dozens more for questioning. Hamas denies hospital militants, calling the claim “lies aimed at covering up hospital destruction.”
