Ookla, which runs speed tests, presented its newest assessment of Pakistan’s internet performance in Q3 2023.
This all-encompassing report evaluates the latency, speed, and consistency of every mobile network operator and broadband internet service provider within the nation.
Jazz had the highest national mean download speed, according to the survey. In the third quarter of 2023, it had the greatest median download speed of 20.63 Mbps among the three telecommunications firms. Ufone first with 10.26 Mbps, and Zong second with 16.44 Mbps. Telenor was last at 4.77 Mbps.
Regarding consistency, a metric that is unquestionably crucial, Jazz maintained its position at the top with a remarkable 80.5 percent. A minimum download speed of 5Mbps and an upload speed of 1 Mbps were consistently maintained.
Internet Comparison:
When comparing the two, Zong and Ufone obtained consistency scores of 76.6% and 67.7%, respectively. Conversely, Telenor performed less consistently, achieving a score of 42.5 percent.

The report revealed that Zong had the lowest median multi-server latency in Pakistan, at 52 milliseconds, among all Pakistani operators. Ufone, Jazz, and Telenor all followed closely behind with 61 ms.
