In collaboration with the autonomous driving robot business Neubility, Kyochon F&B, a South Korean food distributor best known for its premium Kyochon Chicken brand, is testing a robot delivery service through October 30.
The focus of the pilot is on deliveries performed by Neubie, an autonomous robot from Neubility, between the Konkuk University Kyochon Chicken store and other sites on campus.
This delivery robot employs cameras and has undergone cost and performance evaluations. It provides safe driving and cutting-edge cognitive technology at a fair price.
Customers can select delivery locations inside the university grounds thanks to the connection between the KakaoTalk channel “Neubie Order Konkuk University Campus” and the distinctive B2C delivery service Neubie Order.

The feasibility of integrating autonomous robots into Kyochon F&B’s franchisees is being investigated with the objective of significantly enhancing operational efficiency by reducing labor expenses and resolving the shortage of delivery employees.
An insider from the business claimed that “autonomous delivery robots can significantly boost operational efficiency and offer a unique customer experience,” demonstrating the proactive approach to preparing for the impending autonomous delivery future through pre-commercialization testing.
Kyochon is a leader in the development of IT services, including collaborative culinary robots and drone deliveries, in addition to delivery robots.
After collaborating with the specialized company “Neuromeka,” the company tested the cooking robot in several locations, including Namyangju in Gyeonggi Province.
Additionally, Kyochon has expanded its selection of IT-based solutions by partnering with “Pablo Air” to offer smart logistics delivery services using drones in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province.
