Although achieving a high free throw ratio does not ensure victory at the very least, it undoubtedly confers a competitive advantage. At present, the LAL rank fourth with 27.7 free throws attempted per game, which is lower than the Bucks (28.8), Orlando (28), and Philadelphia (27.1). As a result of their complaint, however, their free throw rate increased to 31.7 per game.
