Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, a Republican from Colorado, underwent leg blood clot surgery on Tuesday. According to her campaign news release, she needs to get better.

The delegate’s swelling left leg forced him to the hospital in northern Colorado on Monday. Her campaign stated that during a CT scan, Boebert experienced an abrupt blood clot and May-Thurner syndrome.

May-Thurner syndrome is rare in mothers between the ages of 20 and 45.

The advertisement suggests that lengthy periods of sitting, travel, and dehydration could be the cause of the illness.

After the removal of the clot, hospitalist Dr. Rebecca Bade inserted stents. Hospitalist Dr. Rebecca Bade stated in the press release that patients who had blood flow surgery might resume their jobs. Boebert commended Bade and the medical team.

Boebert’s campaign manager, Drew Sexton, said that the congressman will leave the hospital on Wednesday afternoon. Boebert shared a picture of herself holding her grandson in a hospital bed on Facebook on Wednesday.

Lauren Boebert will be present at the Republican convention for the 4th District on Friday in Pueblo. She went about gathering signatures for Colorado’s primary on June 25. Unless she withdraws, she needs 10% of the votes cast by the delegates in the nominating assembly.

Boebert, a 3rd Congressional District resident from Colorado who supports MAGA, is vying for the Republican nomination to succeed retiring 4th Congressman Ken Buck. On March 22, Buck departed from Congress.

Lauren Boebert relocated her children from Rifle to Windsor.

The congressman faced criticism for his move after a Democrat defeated him in 2022 for the 3rd district seat. Boebert’s difficult year ended with a public divorce and an awkward date at a Denver Beetlejuice show.

Boebert’s name recognition and the backing of former President Donald Trump should help him defeat local Republicans.

In the Republican-held 4th District, Boebert would probably face a Democrat if she prevails in the packed GOP primary in June.
