Lionel Messi tied the score for the LA Galaxy versus Inter Miami in the second minute of injury time during the second half. The goal was caused by Jordi Alba’s ball.
After Dejan Joveljic’s goal pulled the Galaxy within striking distance of Messi and his newly discovered MLS superpower, the Galaxy were relegated to 10 men in the 75th minute. Again, Messi has shown himself to be a miracle.
Messi moves past Galaxy goalie John McCarthy and swaps passes with Alba before chipping the ball into the net.
When Miami scored in their first away game, the crowd went wild. The Galaxy hosted a record 27,642 regular-season fans in a suburban area. A few wore Messi t-shirts.

The MLS commissioner, Don Garber, was pleased with this game.
Before the game, Garber had a meeting with Beckham and Galaxy owner Phil Anschutz. “It embodies everything we have strived for for so many years to make this sport what it is today,” she says. Everybody tries to stay awake. That about covers 2007 and today.
