A supporting actor sued Mia Goth on Friday, alleging the actress intentionally hit him in the head in an April scene.

During the filming of the A24 sequel “MaXXXine,” Goth is said to have kicked James Hunter, causing him to suffer a concussion. The third installment of Ti West’s horror trilogy, “Pearl,” which also debuts in 2022, stars Goth.

Hunter says he consented to spend three days posing as a “dead parishioner” in the lawsuit. On the first night of filming, he “enduring ants and mosquitoes” by spending many hours sleeping on the ground covered in fake blood.

In the scenario, Goth was meant to run past him, occasionally stepping over him, gazing down, and continuing to race.

The lawsuit claims that on the fourth take, Mia Goth almost tripped over him. Hunter complained to the second assistant director, who passed along Goth’s complaint.

According to the lawsuit, during the next take, Mia Goth intentionally gave him a boot to the head. At the end of the show, Hunter says that Goth went into the restroom and “taunted, mocked, and belittled” him before throwing down a challenge.

Hunter was bothered by a headache. The lawsuit also claimed that because the fake blood had dried on his robe, he was injured when he took it off.

On the way home, he had to make two stops because he was dizzy. The casting agency allegedly informed him the next day that the production did not want him to return for the next two days, according to the lawsuit.

Together with allegations of unfair termination against A24, Goth, and West, the lawsuit also charges Goth with being pushy.
