Michael Clarke, a former captain of Australia, talked about Pakistan excluding all-rounder Imad Wasim.
Throughout the nine Pakistan Super League (PSL) knockout games, the 35-year-old was Islamabad United‘s finest player, taking home three Performer of the Match awards.
He is currently a franchise league player after quitting cricket for the national squad.
PSL pundit Michael Clarke complimented Imad and talked about United’s thrilling victory over the Multan Sultans with one ball remaining.
I find my sweat impressive. He remarked, “I’m not sure who won.”
“Imad might win MVP in the finals.”He stated, “If he is not representing Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, there is a huge problem.”
Imad said last week that he would rejoin the national team if the selectors extended an invitation to him.
Wasim said to reporters in the area, “No issue. Playing for Pakistan helped me establish my reputation, and if necessary, I will support my country.”

Imad’s international career ended in November of last year. He will represent Pakistan one last time in May 2023.
Recall that United, having won in 2016 and 2018, is the most successful PSL team ever. They took home three championships.

After winning the toss, the Sultans elected to bat first and amassed 159-9 in 20 overs.
The Sultans took the lead thanks to strikes from Usman Khan (57 off 40 balls) and captain Mohammed Rizwan (26 off 26 balls).
The Sultans lost five wickets for 13 runs, and they were down to 127-9.
Imad Wasim, a left-arm spinner, won 5-23, while Naseem scored 3-32.
Multan was able to retake the game via Iftikhar Ahmed’s twenty-ball thirty-two not out, which included three sixes and fours. In the final two overs, Multan scored 31 runs.
United lost from 121-4 to 129-7, but they prevailed because of Wasim’s reliable 17 off 19 balls.
In a 32-ball fifty, Guptill hit three sixes and four boundaries to lead the winning side in scoring. In 22 balls and 33 runs, Azam Khan smashed four boundaries and a six.
