Former Pakistani captain Misbah ul Haq has offered his opinions on the changes team management should think about making for the upcoming game against India in light of the present ICC World Cup 2023.
The performance of Pakistan‘s spin bowlers has drawn criticism, particularly after they failed to make much of an impression in their encounter against India and instead bowled for nothing.

Misbah gave special recognition to Shadab and Muhammad Nawaz for their contributions to the spin department. He expressed his preference for Usama Mir over Shadab and said he thought it would be a good idea to add him to the team.
“Based on his play in the last two to three games, I believe Nawaz is still bowling well and batting with assurance [in contrast to Shadab].” In a community sports program, Misbah said, “But Shadab, even if you look at today’s bowling [against India], he didn’t have that confidence to land the ball at the right place.”
Playing 50-over cricket immediately after spending some time playing T20 cricket can be difficult. “If all of these problems are happening to you, it’s time to go after your bowler, Usama Mir,” said the individual.
Misbah underlined the importance of Pakistan’s remaining games, noting that they are now all “do or die” events, while talking about the current state of affairs in general.
“At this point, every game has turned into a do-or-die situation,” he said.
