Munawwar Rana, who wrote the most on the mother in the Urdu ghazal, is no longer among us. The famous poet Munawwar Rana died on the night of January 14 due to a heart attack.
He had been ill for several days. He was suffering from heart and kidney ailments. His son confirmed his death on Sunday night while he was receiving treatment at Lucknow‘s PGI.
Munawar Rana’s health deteriorated last year as well. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Lucknow. When his health deteriorated, Munawar had to be put on a ventilator. where they lost their lives.
Munawwar Rana was born on November 26, 1952, in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh. Munawar was known for his unique style and unmatched ghazals. He wrote extensively in Hindi and Urdu.
Munawar recited his ghazals in several different mushairas. His book Shadhaba also received the Sahib Qademi Award in 2014, with which ghazals and poets were associated.
Although there was a show in 2015, in the name of growing, he returned the order. Apart from this, Munawar has also received the Amir Khusro Award, the Mir Taqi Mir Award, the Dr. Zakir Hussain Award, and the Saraswati Samaj Award.
Munawar Rana has five children. His daughter, Samia, is associated with the Samajwadi Party. The other daughter, Fauzia, is in Congress. Selling Days and Manor also faced some controversy. Munawar Rana was often involved in controversies. He had questioned Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi after the Supreme Court verdict on the Ram temple issue. when he made a statement about the Taliban. Even then, this statement was taken as the right of the Taliban, and then it was discussed.
Munawar had planted a tiger on Kisan Andolan on Twitter, which had become a trend. In his verse, Nala talked about making a field by demolishing the sansad, although he deleted the tweet after being asked.
