The sixth Special Investment Facilitation Council apex committee meeting contained six Ministry of IT & Telecom for 5G Auction agenda items.
The Prime Minister’s House will host a significant meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s apex committee on Wednesday. Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister, will chair the meeting of the upper house committee.
The 5G auction, steps taken for high-tech IT HR and freelancers, steps taken to bring digital payment solutions, venture capital funds, the establishment of virtual STZs, and the formulation of national space policy and rules are among the agenda items related to the Ministry of IT and Telecom, according to the documents that Pakistan has access to.
Supreme Committee for IT
The Supreme Committee will also hear from the State Bank of Pakistan about digitization and IT company FX retention.
Ministry of IT and Telecom sources say the federal cabinet received the spectrum auction committee’s constitution summary. Early 5G auctions and spectrum allocation will be discussed at the apex committee meeting.

A fund of Rs. 10 billion is reportedly being set aside for HR training in the IT industry, according to the Ministry of IT & Telecom. One hundred thousand people will receive two years of IT training through this money.
Pakistan’s business model has been addressed with PayPal and Stripe, and the Ministry of IT and Telecom expects the results in the coming weeks. Work is underway to bring these payment gateways to Pakistan.
Independent infrastructure contractors. Nationwide, 5,000 independent contractor e-employment centers will open. The government would provide interest-free loans under this 50 billion rupee program.
According to the Ministry of IT and Telecom authorities, the government is working with donors and partners to create a $100 billion venture capital fund for enterprises. This fund will strengthen fintech and startup ecosystems by supporting new firms and entrepreneurs.
The sources also said the SIFC’s apex committee’s October 2 meeting program was changed. Umar Saif, acting Federal Minister of IT and Telecom, extended his stay in Saudi Arabia for this reason.
