The Foreign Office (FO) condemned the “barbaric” deaths on Sunday of three people held by the Indian army in Kashmir and said that the incident exposed the neighboring nation’s “relentless state terrorism” in the occupied valley.
An Associated Press story from the previous day said that three Kashmiris were tortured to death while under the custody of the Indian army. According to the article, neighbors and villagers in Poonch reported that the army had arrested “at least eight civilians” for interrogation after an attack on two army trucks.

According to locals, “Army personnel allegedly tortured the three to death in a nearby military camp.” The bodies were later turned over to the local police, who then contacted the surviving family members. According to the study, the villagers’ reports of severe torture were evident in the bodies.
Families of the other five say they were “severely tortured,” and they were moved to an army hospital.
Hours after their arrest, videos purportedly showing the “torture of detained civilians” went viral online, according to the article, causing “widespread anger.”
According to the report, “On Saturday morning, authorities in Poonch and Rajouri shut off internet services on smart devices, a common tactic to dispel possible protests and discourage dissemination of the videos.”
In a statement made public today, the FO said that it strongly condemned the “barbaric custodial killing” of the three Kashmiris.
“The Indian invading army tortured the murdered peasants until they passed away in a camp. A fake video clip that allegedly shows Indian authorities stripping three men and dousing them with chili powder has gone viral on social media, according to the FO.
Once again, Indian state terrorism in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) is brought to light in this episode. It stated: “Those accountable for these deaths while in detention must suffer the repercussions.”
The savage conquest of India is the source of all of the main issues in IIOJK. The decisions of the relevant UN Security Council said that the Kashmiri people have to recognize their inalienable right to self-determination.
