The International Cricket Council‘s Men’s T20 Team of the Year was announced under the captaincy of India’s Suryakumar Yadav.
Every year, the ICC forms a team of players from different teams for the best performance. Similarly, in the year 2023, the players, batsmen, and bowlers who performed the best were made the best T20 team, which did not include any players from the Pakistani cricket team. Four players from India are included in the International Cricket Council’s team of the year 2023.
Indian player Yashasvi Jaiswal was included in an opening with England’s Phil Salt. He made his debut for India last year and has scored three 430s in 14 innings with a strike of 159. While Phil Salt made 331 in the five-match T20 series,
Wicketkeeper batter Nicholas Pooran from the West Indies is also included in the T20 international team. Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav will be named the captain of the T20 International Team of the Year. The team included New Zealand’s Mark Chapman at number five and Zimbabwe’s all-rounder Sikandar Raza at number six, while Uganda’s Alpesh Ramjani was placed alongside him and Ireland’s Mark Adair at number eight.
The last three players, including two Indian spinners, Ravi Bishnoi, Zimbabwe’s Richard Ngarava, and fellow Arshdeep Singh, complete the team from the ending side of Men’s T20 Team of the Year.
Pakistan’s performance in 2023 was disappointing, due to which no player of the Pakistani cricket team could be included in the 2023 Twenty20 Team of the Year.
