Prime Minister Kakar bans celebrations of the New Year to show sympathy with Palestinians

A prohibition was placed on the celebrations that were scheduled to take place on New Year by the acting prime minister, Anwaarul Haq, on Thursday. This was done in an effort to provide help to the Palestinian people.

Prime Minister Kakar made the announcement that “Pakistan had sent two batches of aid for the Palestinian brothers and sisters.”

PM Kakar highlights the significance of the OIC summit in tackling the issues confronting the Muslim world.

Finding practical answers to the challenges and issues facing the Muslim world is crucial, acting prime minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar emphasised during the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference on Wednesday.

PM Kakar expressed his concerns during discussions with ambassadors from several Muslim countries, including Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, and Palestine.

Ambassadors from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates were remarkably engaged in the meeting.

During the conversation, the prime minister updated the ambassadors on Pakistan’s stance on human rights in Palestine and discussed the country’s deteriorating human rights conditions.
