Prosecutors in Manhattan requested the judge presiding over the possible criminal prosecution of Donald Trump to uphold the gag order, which forbids making derogatory remarks about the judge’s family.
Following his comments on social media regarding the judge’s daughter, the Manhattan District Attorney wrote a two-page letter on Friday stating that Trump should be held accountable for any future violations of the gag order.

Trump criticised the judge’s daughter on Truth Social on Wednesday for posting a picture of herself in jail on her X account. Trump claims that the picture “makes it completely impossible for me to get a fair trial.”
