Legal action is being taken against unauthorized internet service providers in Sargodha by the PTA. As part of their attempts to prohibit illegal internet service, the PTA and FIA conducted two successful searches in Sargodha. Both searches succeeded.

First, the RB Block of Rose Valley Society was searched, then the Burj-e-Umar Plaza on Mian Khan Road. There was just one person taken into custody.Switches, routers, laptops, antennae, and other illegal ISP infrastructure were recovered. These firms provided ISP services in Sargodha and nearby areas without PTA licenses.
The PTA applauded continuous dedication, surveillance, and efforts to halt illegal internet services for successful ISP raids. Tax evasion and revenue underreporting from the national Treasury decreased significantly.
They attacked Rose Valley Society’s RB Block and Mian Khan Road’s Burj-e-Umar Plaza. There was an arrest made. AFurthermore, other illicit ISP infrastructure, including laptops, antennae, switches, and routers, was confiscated. Without a valid PTA license, these companies were providing ISP services in Sargodha and the surrounding areas.
The PTA’s tireless efforts and continual surveillance limited the threat posed by illicit internet services, reducing tax evasion and revenue misreporting.These factors contributed to the effectiveness of the raids against illegal ISPs.
To avoid service interruptions, the public should use only PTA-licensed telecom carriers.
