The news that Rebecca Adlington, a former competitive swimmer, had a miscarriage was made public.
The Olympic gold medalist claimed that she and her husband, Andy Parsons, found out about the pregnancy at a routine examination when she was 20 weeks along.
On Sunday, Adlington, who resides in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, shared her suffering with the followers of her Instagram account.
The pregnant woman, who is 34 years old and already has a daughter and a son, told the world about her pregnancy on October 1st.

“I’m not sure how to put it, but this week we had our 20-week scan, and they couldn’t find a heartbeat,” Adlington posted on Instagram.
“I’m not sure how else to put it.”
Our little angel, Harper, made her debut in the world on Friday evening at seven o’clock.
We embraced one another and engaged in conversation. The memories that we have of her and the affection that we feel for her are invaluable to us.
Her admirers included former track racers such as Greg Rutherford and Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, presenters such as Angellica Bell and Helen Skelton, and hockey player Sam Quek.

She had married Mr. Parsons two years earlier, and their first child, Albie, was already born. Her marriage to Harry Needs produced a daughter named Summer.
