Rebel Wilson says Sacha Baron Cohen is close to finishing his autobiography

Sacha Baron Cohen was referred to by Rebel Wilson as a “massive asshole” for attempting to suppress her autobiography, Rebel Rising. 

Wilson wrote on Instagram on March 25 that “I will not be bullied or silenced by high-priced lawyers or PR crisis managers.” I refer to Sacha Baron Cohen as an “a**hole” in one section of my book. 

Baron Cohen was reached by the Guardian for comment. 

Wilson claimed that a “huge asshole” coworker contacted a crisis PR firm and threatened her after warning she would be in her book. She stated, “He’s trying to stop the press about my new book.” “Yet you will all know the truth because the book will be published.” 

“When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, ‘I have a no asshole policy, which means, yeah, I don’t work with assholes,'” Wilson updated his Instagram ten days ago. “Oh yeah,” I replied. It is logical. After dealing with a big asshole, I created a no-asshole policy. 

Wilson and Baron Cohen played husband and wife in the 2016 film Grimsby. Wilson says that when she refused to hire a body double, Baron Cohen suggested that she get naked first.

Grimsby was in post-production in 2014 when Wilson told Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O radio show that Baron Cohen was pushing for too much, to the point that Wilson had threatened to phone their common agency to “tell her how much you are harassing me.” 

“Every day he says, ‘Just go naked; it will be funny,'” she continued. I had a great time with my naked Borat scene. Since I believed I had won our last-day dispute, I gave him a body double from a nude scene. 

Wilson alleged Baron Cohen asked her to touch his back in the finals. “What do you mean, Sacha?” absent from paper.”Look, I’ll take down my trousers; you poke your finger up my butt; it’ll be really amusing,” she says. Wilson said a butt smack is plenty. Avoid diva behaviour.”

Many people consider Grimsby, starring Isla Fisher and Mark Strong, to be Baron Cohen’s worst movie. Baron Cohen stated to the Guardian in 2021: 

Every setback causes pain. Excellent experience all around. Making box-office hits was a must for me as a Hollywood comedian. The finest thing about a loaded bomb was its freedom.
