Ruet-e-Hilal committee will convene tomorrow to observe the Ramadan moon

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is convening in Peshawar on Monday night. Maulana Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad will serve as the event’s facilitator. The committee will also keep an eye on the moon throughout the period preceding the reported sighting of the Ramadan moon.

Azad, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman, is pleading with Pakistanis to observe the crescent moon. Furthermore, he expressed his optimistic belief that the national holy month will begin on the same day.

If accurate lunar observation is maintained, Tuesday is predicted to mark the beginning of the holy month.

Additional zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will meet simultaneously at their respective locations on Shaban 29th, following the Asr prayers. The goal of these sessions is to get ready for the anticipated sighting of the Ramadan moon in 1445 Hijri.

According to the Met Office, the Ramadan moon will rise at two o’clock on Sunday or today, at which point it will be older than twenty-eight hours. This was the moongazing window of opportunity.

Millions of Muslims in Pakistan are among the billions of Muslims who celebrate the holy month with religious fervour and joy. Millions of Muslims will fast throughout this period. Depending on where they live in the world, they will fast constantly for 12 to 17 hours during this period.

During the month of Ramadan, Pakistan, like many other nations, sees a rise in food drives that are both public and charitable. Furthermore, people erect roadside kiosks to assist those leaving for home in the evening.

Due to religious festivities and the custom of buying in the days preceding Eid ul Fitr, the month typically sees a rise in economic activity. This can be attributed to the fact that Eid ul Fitr is regarded as a fast holiday.
