According to a recent survey by U.S. News & World Report, Canada is rated as the second-best country in the world for 2023.
It should come as no surprise that Canada has been rated second on the list of the best countries in the world, given that it has the coolest street in the entire world and the fifth-coolest neighborhood on the planet.
Is Canada the ideal place to live in the world?
The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, led by Professor David Reibstein, and WPP, a global marketing and communications services company, used their proprietary BAV brand analytics tool to collaborate with U.S. News & World Report to rank nations.
They identified 73 national traits or phrases that are essential to a nation’s modern success. From March 17 to June 12, 17,000 people worldwide participated in a poll about these features. Participants rated their association of qualities with nations.

Each country scored in each of the 73 categories based on survey results. The more firmly a country is regarded as embodying a quality than the average, the higher its attribute score, and vice versa. A standard scale was created from these ratings for comparability.
