Shubh's India Tour Cancelled After Alleged Support for 'Khalistan'

Rapper and singer Shubhneet Singh, also known by his stage name “Shubh,” is Punjabi and resides in Canada. He has drawn criticism for purportedly supporting Khalistan. In a recent tweet on X, formerly known as Twitter, BookMyShow announced that Shubh’s India tour had been canceled. The company pledged to pay the tickets in full within seven to ten days.

Shubhneet Singh’s Still Rolling Tour for India has been postponed. All consumers who purchased tickets for the performance through BookMyShow are now receiving full refunds. According to the statement, the reimbursement would arrive in 7–10 business days in the customer’s initial transaction account.

The morning ticket-booking agency was advised to stop using social media for hosting a Khalistani-supporting musician. “UninstallBookMyShow” trended on X.

India and Canada removed top envoys over diplomatic disputes. Canada’s Justin Trudeau said 45-year-old Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was killed in British Columbia in June. India immediately dismissed Canada’s absurd assertion.

The dispute strained relations between the two nations and halted trade talks.

Shubh, a Punjabi rapper on the rise, rose to fame when his song “Still Rollin” gained a lot of plays on Instagram reels. His breakout song, “We Rollin,” was released in 2021, and by 2023, it had received more than 201 million YouTube views.

His debut album, “Still Rollin,” was recently released, and he also revealed plans for a cruise and his first-ever India tour, which would include stops in ten different cities.
