LAHORE: The Punjab Health Minister, Prof. Dr. Javed Akram, stated that the Children’s Hospital in Lahore is undergoing renovations. He presided over the ninth meeting of the UCS syndicate on Wednesday. He stated that the UCHS is making an effort to eliminate paper records.

The minister had previously authorised each and every minute of the ninth syndicate meeting. The vice chancellor, professor Dr. Masood Sadiq, updated the recommendations made at the 7th Syndicate Conference. During the Syndicate meeting, the significance of maintaining the Lahore High Court’s performance and quality standards was emphasised.

The department gave its approval before sending the UCHS statues to the chancellor for final review. At its ninth meeting, the syndicate approved the recommendations made by the planning and finance committees. The current condition of the UCHS complex was also evaluated at the conference.

The Punjab Infrastructure Development Authority provided a briefing during the syndicate meeting. Furthermore, authorization has been given for the equipment in the new department. With permission, the emergency and outpatient lifts at Children’s Hospital will be fixed.

The updated budget for the construction of the Lahore Children’s Hospital has also been approved. UCHS and the Al-Rafa Foundation decided to further enhance patient care during the syndicate meeting. A Children’s Hospital satellite clinic will provide free medical care from hospital consultants in accordance with the agreement.
