The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which will host the ICC World Cup 2023 Closing Ceremony, which will take place prior to the India vs. Australia match, BCCI has confirmed the musicians that will take part in the closing ceremony.
The match will be held in the Narendra Modi Arena in Ahmedabad, which is now the largest cricket venue in the world. On the last night of the tournament, Dua Lipa will most likely perform, a Star Sports tweet states. Her name isn’t present on the BCCI schedule, though.
At the 2023 World Cup closing ceremony, four different artists will perform. the pregame programme, which begins at 1:35 p.m. Following the toss, the Suryakiran Indian Air Force Airshow will take place at Indian Standard Time (IST). At 1:50 p.m., each team will play their national anthem, and at 2:00 p.m., the first ball will be bowled to cap off the festivities.
During the first innings break, Aditya Gadhvi, who produced the music for the Coke Studio India song Khalasi, will perform. The opening match of the tournament, which took place in Ahmedabad on October 5 without an opening ceremony, featured England versus New Zealand. The details of the championship award ceremony were also disclosed the day before the competition began. Anthony Albanese, the prime minister of Australia, and Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, or one of their representatives, were likely to attend the final game at the stadium.
World Cup-winning captains
According to an alternate version of events, the International Cricket Council (ICC) extended honorary invites to all the captains of World Cup-winning teams to attend the World Cup final. Ricky Ponting, Clive Lloyd, Allan Border, and the leaders of the Indian team that won the World Cup, MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev, are expected to attend the celebration. Under the captaincy of Dhoni and Dev, India won the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. Eoin Morgan, who captained England during the previous World Cup, is already in India as a member of the broadcast team.

ICC World Cup 2023 Closing Ceremony: Date, Time, and Venue

Before the Game: Acrobatics
The Indian Air Force will perform an acrobatic air show to kick off the inaugural event at 12:30 p.m. The Suryakiran Acrobatic Team, consisting of nine hawks, will perform a musical 10-minute display for the audience under the direction of flight commander Sidesh Kartik.
Halftime: The Parade of Champions and a musical performance
Nearly all of the past World Cup-winning captains will participate in a 15-minute “Champions Parade” to kick off the halftime performance at 5:30 p.m. The procession will feature a number of celebrities, including Sir Clive Lloyd, Michael Clarke, Eoin Morgan, Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting, Arjuna Ranatunga, Allen Border, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
A 20-second film featuring the captains will be shown in addition to images showing the progression of the trophy from the Prudential Trophy to the World Cup, Wills Cup, Benson & Hedges Trophy, and Reliance Cup. For the parade, BCCI will give personalised blazers to every captain participating.
Following the captains’ march, music director Pritam and his group of over 500 dancers will perform live.
