PESHAWAR: The interim minister for elementary, secondary, and higher education, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Qasim Khan, says the KP government supports education because it accounts for over 24% of the budget.
He made these statements during an All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association event in Peshawar’s Nishtar Hall on Wednesday. The central president of the Private Schools Management Association, Kashif Adeeb Javadani, and secretary of elementary and secondary education, Mutasimbillah Shah, spoke.
He stated we’re attempting to provide them with IT skills to compete globally, science education, and up-to-date information on the globalized economy.
He stated additional work was needed to focus on high-quality education, enroll unenrolled students, and minimize dropout rates.
The minister acknowledged that private sector support limits our resources but acknowledged its usefulness. He said they mentor the province’s private school instructors and kids because they view them as vital to the educational system.
He argued that all private schools must follow provincial building codes.
The provincial minister says public-private efforts have raised literacy rates. Educated mothers raise decent citizens and provide their children the best education, so girls’ education has received special emphasis, he says.
He said giving teachers facilities is their first priority, that all civilized nations cherish them, and that teaching is a spiritual vocation.
He said nations grow via education, and the province administration is taking strong steps in this direction as a steward.
The minister asked public and private educators to act in communities with low reading rates and few resources for youngsters.
The program ended with shields for private-sector students and honorary professors.
