With the inclusion of telephoto lenses—a first for this range—the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, the company’s newest models in the number series, have finally made their formal appearance. This is a significant advancement. Through their partnership with Swiss watchmaker Ollivier Saveo, Realme was able to launch an improved model in India.
Realme 12 Pro
The Realme 12 Pro’s 6.7-inch OLED display features curved edges. This screen has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 240 Hz, and DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. A Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor powers it, with a 2.2 GHz CPU and an Adreno 710 GPU.
The Realme 12 Pro sports a 5,000 mAh battery, just like the 11 Pro. With a SuperVOOC capacity of 67W, this power supply offers lightning-fast charging. Although charging halfway through will only take 19 minutes, official sources state that a full recharge may be finished in 48 minutes.
A huge 1/2-inch Sony IMX882 sensor powers the Realme 12 Pro’s 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). Completing the bundle are a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor measuring 1/2.74 inches and a 2x telephoto lens.

The smartphone also has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens for wide-angle shooting. For those who enjoy taking selfies, the Realme 12 Pro’s 16MP front-facing camera is perfect. The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 14 and Realme UI 5.0, the company’s most recent user interface version.
Notably, the Realme 12 Pro features vegan leather backs and is available in two color schemes. It is important to remember that these surfaces are composed of plastic. There may be some similarities between the blue model and the popular Rolex brand, but this is not a cooperative endeavor. The official color names for these replacements are Navigator Beige and Submariner Blue.
With 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM, the Realme 12 Pro has a starting price of $310. There is 256 GB of storage on the $325 model.
Realme 12 Pro+
The Realme 12 Pro+ still sports the same 6.7-inch OLED display with a maximum brightness of 950 nits. The smartphone also comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports rapid 67W charging. Its charging speed is notably slower when compared to the 100W rate of its predecessor.
The Realme 12 Pro+ is powered by a Snapdragon 7th Gen 2 CPU. This SoC supports up to 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of various storage options.
A Sony IMX890 sensor powers the 50MP primary camera of the Realme 12 Pro+. Though they are similar in that they have a bigger f/1.8 aperture, the Realme GT3 and GT5 use a different sensor. Performance in low light and dynamic range should be enhanced as a result.
The device also comes with a 64MP periscope telephoto lens that has an equivalent focal length of 71mm and a 3x optical zoom. This lens is special because of its f/2.6 aperture, 1/2-inch OmniVision OV64B sensor, and optical image stabilization (OIS).
Furthermore, the larger 12 Pro and its sister, the 12 Pro+, have the same 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. For those who enjoy taking selfies, a new 32MP Sony sensor takes center stage, providing improved video calls and self-portraits.
Realme UI 5.0, the most recent iteration of Realme’s user interface, and Android 14 are preinstalled on the Realme 12 Pro+.
The smartphone comes in two distinct colors: Submariner Blue and Navigator Beige.
The Realme 12 Pro+ comes in a range of price ranges and configurations to suit different user needs. The most expensive variant is the 8 GB/128 GB model, which costs $360; the 8 GB/256 GB model costs $385; and the 12 GB/256 GB model costs $410.
