According to a statement from the military’s media branch, security forces killed three terrorists on Sunday in the Bajaur District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) as they attempted to enter Pakistan.
Security forces in the Batwar, Bajaur area reportedly saw the three terrorists’ movements as they sought to enter Afghanistan from Pakistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The security personnel shot and killed all three of the terrorists following a shootout. Per the ISPR, “weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists.”
Terrorists operating out of Afghanistan attacked a Pakistani border post in the Spinwam district of the province of North Waziristan late on Saturday night.
According to the ISPR, the troops’ successful counteroffensive resulted in significant losses for the terrorists.

Pakistan has continuously demanded from the Afghan interim administration robust border control on their side of the border.
It continued by stating, “It is expected of the interim Afghan government to fulfil its responsibilities and prohibit terrorists from using Afghan territory to carry out terrorist attacks against Pakistan.”
Reports earlier in the day stated that security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Mashkai area of the Awaran district, Balochistan, on Saturday night, during which at least five militants were killed.
According to the ISPR statement, weapons, ammo, and bombs were found during a break-in at the terrorists’s hideout.
