The Kot Addu Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will hold a power show at the Municipal Sports Ground tomorrow. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will address a public rally in Kot Addu for the first time.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) launched its election campaign for the February 8, 2024, elections from Swabi on January 10 and will conclude each of the rallies in Larkana on February 6.
In this election campaign, Bilawal Bhutto will show his political power in Punjab from January 16 to January 26. The fair of Kot Addu is also a link in this chain.
All arrangements have been made at the venue. According to the organisers, an 80-foot-long and 24-foot-wide stage have been prepared. There were more than 25,000 seats in the hall.
All security arrangements are also complete for Bilawal’s rally. Separate places have been arranged for Punjab Police personnel, security gates, and men and women.
Former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar from NA-180, Mian Amjad Abbas Qureshi from NA-179, and Mir Asif Khan Dasti from PP-279 will contest the election on the ticket of the Pakistan People’s Party.
Kot Addu Municipal Stadium has hosted political rallies in the past. Both Nawaz Sharif, the head of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the 2013 elections, and Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 2018, have engaged in major political power displays. Whether the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) can surpass Imran Khan’s record for the most power shows by inviting a sizable number of leaders is still to be determined.
