Tyreek Hill returned to Dolphins practice Thursday afternoon. The team’s injury report says the standout receiver missed Wednesday’s practice due to a hip ailment.
Practice reporters saw Hill catch, cut, and run during the open-media phase.
The receiver’s availability was only questioned when the media met with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
“If we couldn’t have Tyreek, that would be tough,” Tagovailoa said Wednesday. “The show continues. You must play. Eventually, we’ll have Tyreek back, and you can’t pull your foot off the throttle and lose rhythm as a team.”

Hill appeared to be out for Sunday’s game against the Patriots after those comments. Hill returned to the pitch a day later, delighting Miami and fantasy football fans. The Dolphins’ Thursday injury report will reveal Hill’s status.
Thursday saw starting running back Raheem Mostert return to practice. Due to an ankle issue, he missed Wednesday’s session.
Since both players scored most of Miami’s points this season, their availability would be crucial. Hill has seven touchdowns and Mostert nine rushing and two receptions.
Dolphin’s Injury:
Wednesday’s Dolphins injury list included a major name.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill missed his first practice of the season. Hill has a hip injury.
Several teammates asked about Hill’s availability for Sunday’s game against the Patriots, but the team hasn’t responded. Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle said it was above his pay grade, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa considered playing without Hill. Tagovailoa said no one can duplicate Hill, but the club mustn’t let that stop them offensively.

“If we couldn’t have Tyreek, that would be tough, but the show goes on,” Tagovailoa stated at his press conference. “You must keep playing, and Tyreek will return. You must keep your foot on the gas and maintain rhythm as a team or unit.”
Running back Raheem Mostert (ankle), safety Jevon Holland (concussion), fullback Alec Ingold (foot), and guard Robert Jones (personal) missed practice. Wide receiver River Cracraft (shoulder), cornerback Xavien Howard (groyne), cornerback Kader Kohou (neck), defensive back Nik Needham (achilles), cornerback Jalen Ramsey (knee), Cam Smith (foot), and centre Connor Williams (groyne) were limited.
Hills’ situation and whether “somewhere down the line” is as bad as it seems will be assessed at Thursday’s practice.
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill practices routes:
Miami Gardens— Tyreek Hill returned to Dolphins practice Thursday after skipping the team’s exercise and raising worries about his availability for Sunday’s game against visiting New England.
Hill missed Wednesday’s exercise with a hip ailment. He stretched with teammates, ran a few simple routes, and caught QB passes during Thursday’s media-accessible practice. He appeared unimpeded.

In 1 1/2 seasons with the Dolphins, Hill has never missed a game. He may address the media following practice Thursday afternoon.
On Wednesday, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said, “You’ve got to continue to play, and somewhere down the line, we’re going to get Tyreek back in.”
Fullback Alec Ingold (foot), offensive lineman Robert Jones (not injury-related or personal day), and running back Raheem Mostert (ankle) returned Thursday after missing Wednesday’s session.
Safety Jevon Holland was wearing a red, non-contact jersey while in concussion protocol, but he was working, suggesting he was advancing. Whether he can leave the programme before the Patriots game is unknown.
