Its producers have unveiled the official trailer for Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar, which has piqued viewers’ interest. The film follows Vicky Kaushal’s Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, the first Indian Army Field Marshal. Manekshaw helped create Bangladesh after the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

The trailer provides an advance look at Sam Manekshaw’s remarkable leadership qualities as well as the formidable obstacles he encountered. The teaser shows Manekshaw determined to win the war under political pressure. The two-minute-and-thirty-eight-second trailer highlights Manekshaw’s four-decade military career, featuring their collaboration to subdue Pakistan and his connection with Indira Gandhi. It also depicts Manekshaw presiding over a minister while emphasizing the significance of Army discipline. “Hum rahe ya na rahi iss vardi ka gaurav hamesha rehna chahiye,” concludes Sam’s trailer.

The film features Sanya Malhotra in the role of Sam’s wife, Siloo, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the role of former prime minister Indira Gandhi. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub portrays Yahya Khan, and Neeraj Kabi portrays Jawaharlal Nehru.

During a previous interview with India Today, Vicky Kaushal conveyed his sense of admiration for the film Sam Bahadur. “Yet another film that I am extremely, extremely proud of,” he declared. It concerns a remarkable man. I am collaborating with Meghna Gulzar once more. There are numerous aspects of the film that warrant discussion, but I will do so at the appropriate moment. “This is something I am exceedingly anticipating.”

On December 1, Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies will release Sam Bahadur in theaters. Animal, also starring Ranbir Kapoor, is scheduled to debut in theaters on the same day as the aforementioned film.
