As Lily Gladstone collected the Golden Globe for Best Actress role in the drama Killers of the Flower Moon on Sunday night, her virtual and real-world Hollywood fan bases applauded her.
Native American actor Gladstone was raised on Montana’s Blackfeet Reservation. For her role in the Oklahoma-filmed “Killers of the Flower Moon,” she won many honors. Gladstone has received many other awards for playing Mollie Burkhart.

Gladstone is the first Indigenous person to win the prize in her industry.
“This is for every rez kid, every little urban kid, every little Native kid out there who has a dream, who is seeing themselves represented and our stories told by ourselves in our own words, with tremendous allies and tremendous trust from with and from each other,” Gladstone stated. “So thank you all so much.”

Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio did not win any Golden Globes for the movie. “Killers of the Flower Moon” was nominated for several awards, however the Golden Globe was not one of them.
These featured Robert De Niro for Best Supporting Actor, Martin Scorsese for Best Director, and Leonardo DiCaprio for Best Actor in Drama. The movie didn’t win any prizes, despite having nominations for best picture and best score.
