Friday, February 9, will mark the announcement of the unofficial results for all 859 constituencies of the National and Provincial Assemblies by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
A spokesperson for the ECP told APP that all preparations have been finalised in preparation for tomorrow’s nationwide general elections to be free, fair, and transparent.
Furthermore, the completion of the printing process for 260 million ballot papers across all constituencies has been reported. As per the statement from the spokesperson, ballots for the Provincial Assembly are printed on white paper, whereas ballots for the National Assembly are distinguished by their green paper.
With the exception of a few districts, the distribution of printed ballot papers has been finalised throughout the nation. From January 14 until February 3, the printing procedure was complete.

The spokesman added that ballot papers for eleven National Assembly and five Provincial Assembly constituencies were reprinted in accordance with a Supreme Court order. The court has ordered the destruction of the original documents.

He emphasised that 260 million ballot papers were printed in total this time. This signifies a candidate count increase of 54.74% in comparison to the preceding elections.
In spite of a notable surge in demand for special paper by 195%, efficient management initiatives resulted in a decline from 2,400 metric tonnes to 2,177 metric tonnes. 5 percent single-column, 50 percent double-column, 30 percent three-column, 11 percent four-column, and 24 percent five-column formats comprise the distribution of printed ballot papers.
