Billy Miller ‘Y&R’ Daytime Emmy-winner dies at 43.

Billy Miller, who was recognized for his appearances on “The Young and the Restless” and “General Hospital,” passed away on Friday, September 15, in Austin, Texas. Daytime Emmy-winner Billy Miller was a recipient of three Daytime Emmy Awards. Though he would have turned 44 today, he was 43 years old at the time.
Journalist Michael Fairman, who covers soap operas, has reported that Miller has died.. No inquiry has been conducted into his death, however his management has stated that he had manic depression.

Billy Miller Early Life:

Daytime Emmy-winner Billy Miller spent his childhood in the Texas town of Grand Prairie. After being hired by Wilhelmina as a model, he got his start in the acting industry on the serial opera “All My Children,” where he played the role of Richie Novak. After that, in 2008, he became the fourth different actor to take on the character of Billy Abbott on the soap opera “The Young and the Restless.”
He left the show in 2014, yet he was awarded three Daytime Emmys: two for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and one for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Although he left the show, he won all three awards.
Miller became a member of the “General Hospital” cast in 2014 and has since played the roles of Jason Morgan and Drew Cain. Up until 2019, he appeared often in the series.

Career:

Daytime Emmy-winner Billy Miller travelled to Los Angeles after graduation to work in Industry Entertainment’s mail office. Working with the Wilhelmina modelling agency led to his acting debut. His six advertisements included two for The Sims by Electronic Arts. He advertised for JCPenney, Pizza Hut, and pokerparty.com.
Miller screen-tested for As the World Turns at 24 but lost the audition, management, and agency owing to poor management. He had a two-year acting break after that.

He has appeared in episodes of “Suits,” “Ray Donovan” on Showtime, and “Truth Be Told” on Apple TV+, among other television shows.
Bill and Sue Miller, Miller’s parents, sister Kelly Miller, and long-term partner Kelly Monaco are among the survivors. Plans for the memorial are unknown. But according to the management statement, contributions can be sent to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
