With a score of 41.82, Pakistan is ranked 45th out of 52 countries in China Economic Net’s (CEN) World Internet Development Report 2023. Pakistan now occupies the lower half of the rankings as a result. This paper was given on Wednesday at the 2023 World Internet Conference, which took place in Wuzhen, China’s Zhejiang province.

The six elements that comprise the World Internet Development Index are information technology infrastructure, digital technology and innovation capabilities, the digital economy, digital governance, cyber security, and cyberspace international management.

Pakistan ranks 47th out of the six countries based on these criteria, followed by 43, 42, 45, and 40.

In this blue study, Pakistan is one of five countries examined for the first time in terms of internet development. A list of the other four nations is also provided. The poll’s results show that the top five nations in the world in terms of internet development index are the USA, China, Singapore, and the Netherlands. Sixth place went to South Korea.
